Context menu in Windows 11

If you are using Windows 11, you may have noticed that the right-click or context menu looks different, and does not contain Light Image Resizer by default. You can still access the old menu by selecting Show more options : win11_context_menu.png You can also press Shift+F10 on your keyboard with a ...

Re: command line and folder

Oh, you are still using Light Image Resizer 4? Sorry, I suppose this old version does not support relative paths like newer ones do.

Hi Leonardo,

please try using "photos\*.jpg" or even "photos\*.*", depending on your file types.

Re: Licence

The license terms are explained on the website. You are purchasing a lifetime license for the current major version (for example 5.x), and all of its minor updates (5.1, 5.2, etc.). Once a new major version is released (for example 6.x), you need to buy an upgrade in order to use it. Or you can cont...

Re: How create a .bat file for Light Image Resizer 6

Are you adding your images via command line as well? In that case you can add the /run parameter to start processing directly. Please see this reference for all the parameters: https://www.obviousidea.com/windows-software/light-image-resizer/command-line-parameters/ If your other question is related...

Re: How create a .bat file for Light Image Resizer 6

It means no profile with this name was found. You need to make sure the profile exists and name is correct.
You can check the exact name and/or rename the profile by clicking the "..." button, and selecting "Rename".

Re: How create a .bat file for Light Image Resizer 6

You need to enclose the path in double quotes as it contains spaces. This is also recommended for the profile name.
This should work:

Code: Select all

"%ProgramFiles(x86)%\ObviousIdea\Light Image Resizer 6\Resize.exe" /profile="coverart"

Re: How create a .bat file for Light Image Resizer 6

Not all of the options are available as command line parameters. We will add more in the next release. You can create a profile with your options though, and call that via command line. For example: resize.exe /profile="my profile" Depending on the image content and output dimensions, sett...

I'm not aware of a standard image format that would allow you to do this. PDF standard allows for certain restrictions (disallow printing for example), but not all PDF readers respect this, which means it could probably be circumvented easily. Please also note that this is not supported by Light Ima...

To change in which order your files appear in Windows, right-click in an empty area of the folder, then select Sort by > Date modified . This should sort your resized images after or before your original files (ascending or descending order). Or, if you want to save them to a separate folder, simply...

Hi,

GreenCloud doesn't have a watermark option itself, but did you check your printer's settings within GreenCloud (gear icon next to the printer selection), to see if it's set up correctly?
