Light Image Resizer does not ask for the name of saved profile :(

Post by 404 »

Light Image Resizer does not ask for the name of saved profile (VSO Image Resizer was asking!).

To save the changed profile under the different name you have to right-click the Save button – Create Copy, then again right-click Save button – Rename.

This is not comfortable. And it is easy to mistakenly left-click Save button and spoil the existing profile.

Why such unnecessary "downgrade" from VSO Image Resizer??

A lot of people complained that saving changes to the current profile was too cumbersome. That's why it has been changed.

But there's a registry setting to turn on the old behavior. Open the zipped registry file to apply it:

UPD: Still does not ask the profile name, when changing the profile and try closing the program without saving changes manually. VSO Image Resizer was asking in that case too.

That's of course minor inconvenience, comparing to not asking at all. But would be nice if it could be also turned back, if possible.
