Email only in Opt-in Form

Post by MichaelB »

Is there a way to only have the email address display in the opt-in form?

Thanks!

Hi,

Normally if you didn't enter "Form NAME field" in the "Setup Opt-in code" there is no email field in the optin.

If you do it, do you have a link to see your optin code ?

Hi JC ... interesting: in my first version of the iContact Opt in form HTML, I had the first name, and I used that to configure WPSubscribers. But then I changed iContact, re-generated the HTML and clicked on "Detect your Form Code", and saved. But it did not update the popup.

I then inspected the HTML, and it did NOT have the name in it.

I did see, however, that the Form NAME field: in WPSubscribers was populated with the default name variable. I deleted this, and THAT fixed it!

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Michael
