Hello, Newbi here.
Just want to confirm that LIR will delete originals to the recycle bin when resizing them with the replace option.
I don't know what I expected, but this behavior seems very good and conservative in the event of a mistaken choice of folder images.

Yes that's the default behavior. Better safe than sorry!
It can be turned off by registry though...

what \ where is the registry setting to turn off the recycle bin?
I need to turn it off pretty urgently.

The reg file in the attachment will turn it off
