we are developping a new software which will look like a printer driver, so it will appears in your list of printers like :



We are looking for a cool name for this new software



There are already a lot of competition but we will have another feature and a distribution strategy which will make the differences.

What the xxxx obid printer version 1 will do :

- Preview pages
- Delete unwanted pages
- Detect blank and almost blank pages
- Print 2 or 4 pages on 1 sheet of paper ( n-up printing )
- Save as PDF
- Upload and Send document online to easy share and annotate a doc as a pdf

before you submit a name idea, you need to check if it is not already used, a simple google.com or a domain name availability research.

if you add the Lite keyword, those look good too:

• LitePrinter : LitePrinter.com
• PrinterLite : PrinterLite.com

I prefer the LitePrinter more.

I didn't think about the lite word, but don't you think it could make some confusion with the light image resizer ? , without any link it can match.

I don't think it would cause confusion.
Not all people in the world know about Light Image Resizer. Even if they did,
I don't see knowing both as a reason for confusion between the two products.
I know both products now, I am not linking them together.

I suggest you market it mostly on its new site as it is your biggest product yet, and ofcourse with reference about its ObviousIdea parent.
