I'm using 4.0.8.0 on a Win7 client connected to WHS 2011. When I try to reszie an image on the server I get :-

Unable to write in "<Same Folder as Original>" (\\server\Temp). Please check write permissions or choose a different destination folder.

Changing the destination to a client side folder works enables it to save.

Using other programs (e.g. Tag & Rename) I can create/write/delete files in the same server folder. Using explorer I also have no problem manipulating files in the server folder.

Folder and file permissions on the server look ok.

Any thoughts on why Image Resizer is having a problem with the server folder/files?

just to narrow down the problem, did you try the same by mounting the network path to a drive letter ( x: -> //server/path ) ?

I mapped the server path to a drive letter and Image Resizer works saving the resized image to the drive letter.

Can you try with this version:

Extract it to installation folder, and replace the old file.

That works without any problems. Many thanks for the rapid response. I'll await the next release

version 4.0.9.0 and more recent has improved the support for network path

For tell me the mail server name, but deploy the menu and will not let me
that option.
Now download the program and still I have no clear function.
Please can you help me
