Hi.

I have a proposal.

I'm working on italian language (the current one is not complete and with some errors).

I found many difficulties to get the info how to translate the language for the program.

I believe that to help the translators (and encourage people to translate the program in many languages) you could

- Open a specific section thread where you post the info how to translate the program, and the reference to send new translation

- Add in the web page under each program web page a link that explain the translation info (which languages are supported/how to translate in a new language/contact references to send new languages)

- Register all emails of translators, make with them a email distribution list, and using it inform all translators about nee program release just few days before, to able the translator to check/revise program languages.

Thanks. Bye.

Hi,

thanks for your comments!

I agree it's not perfect, but we have a [thread=209]thread for translations[/thread]. I made it sticky now, and will add a link to the website to make it more visible.

Please add in the webpage http://www.obviousidea.com/windows-soft ... e-resizer/ a link (translation) that point to
http://www.obviousidea.com/software-translations/

Please add in the webpage http://www.obviousidea.com/windows-soft ... d-printer/ a link (translation) that point to
http://www.obviousidea.com/software-translations/

Of course you will do it in teh future if you will add new translation to http://www.obviousidea.com/software-translations/

The proposal to advise the translator BEFORE to relaese a new version help you and translator to have a program fully translated (and not oen step back).
