email box in post opt-in returns error message

I put a post opt-in box at the bottom of my posts, but when I tested it with my own email address, it returned an error message that said the email wasn't valid. I tried a different email address and it said the same thing. Any ideas?

I just re-inserted the code and it seems to be working.
