First, you need to download and install exVSO / Light Image Resizer 4
Do a right click on the picture you wish to resize (or on a folder to do a batch resizing of all pictures inside). In the menu that opens, choose “Light Image Resizer"
Click on "Options" and select "Effects" choose "Integrate watermark"
Click on "watermark", it will open a new window and you will choose between add a text or an image:
1/ You want to add an image in your picture (a logo for example):
Select a file (1) (png can manage transparancy), you can select the position in the picture (2) and the opacity (3).
With the preview option you can see the result (4) before the finalisation (5).
Now you can finish the resize: go to "option" and click on "Process"
2/ You want to insert text
Write your text (1) and modify the font of your text (2), or you can choose a tag (3).
Select the position in the picture (5) and the opacity (4).
With the preview option you can see the result (6) before the finalisation (7).
Now you can finish the resize: go to "option" and click on "Process"

someone asked us by the support if it was possible to add a border and write something over the border using watermark.
there is a trick for this, explaining in another thread of the forum, using "center" resize mode, filling the extra space around the picture with a solid color, then you will be able to use watermark and put a text or a logo in the border

I wanted to add, that there is a way to save your watermarks on the program ( so you don't need to browse and open it separately every single time when using the program ). For that you need to just create and save a new profile ( I used the name of the watermark and positioning to always know which to choose ), remember to fill the width and height options by hand, and move on to "Integrate Watermark" under the Effects. When you have processed the pictures, the program asks if you would like to save the changes you made to the new profile. Save it and it also saves the watermark with its settings. Makes using the program even faster.
